Info category

Open the Admin Logs in 1NCE OS to see the latest logs from the devices. Use the filter to get Info Category logs.

With the Info category logs, you can also track Whereabouts credit usage: a log entry is written when the remaining credits for Geofencing or Cell Tower Location Plus cross the configured threshold, and again when they are fully consumed.

Lifecycle

There are currently three Lifecycle events available.

Administrator Logs filtered to the Info category, listing Lifecycle events including OutOfCredits, DeviceFirstTimeRegistered, and CreditsLowWarning entries with service, remaining credits, threshold, and ICCID values

Lifecycle events shown in the Administrator Logs.

DEVICE_FIRST_TIME_REGISTERED

  • There is only one "DEVICE_FIRST_TIME_REGISTERED" event possible for the device.
  • The event is triggered on the first interaction of the device with 1NCE OS by interacting with any of endpoints (UDP, COAP, LwM2M registration), Device Observability Memfault Plugin or using the FOTA management Mender Plugin with a particular device.
  • Using "DEVICE_FIRST_TIME_REGISTERED" event, customers can identify which devices have been activated and brought online at least once.

WHEREABOUTS_CREDITS_LOW_WARNING

  • Emitted when the remaining credits for Geofencing or Cell Tower Location Plus cross the configured threshold.
  • Admin Logs message format: service: Geofencing, remaining credits: 100, threshold: 100.

WHEREABOUTS_CREDITS_OUT_OF_CREDITS

  • Emitted when the remaining credits for Geofencing or Cell Tower Location Plus reach zero.
  • Admin Logs message format: service: Cell Tower Location Plus, remaining credits: 0, threshold: 100.
note

WHEREABOUTS_CREDITS_LOW_WARNING and WHEREABOUTS_CREDITS_OUT_OF_CREDITS apply to the whole customer account, so the ICCID column is left empty for these events.
