Features & Limitations
Features
- Monitor your own SIM fleet's data usage, SMS usage, and connectivity with Edge Lens.
- Explore Edge Lens fleet history, generally available for up to 90 days. Widget date controls default to the last 30 days. Widgets can cover different periods, so check their date controls before comparing values.
- Filter the Usage analytics widgets by ICCID using the SIM selector.
- Identify SIMs with recent inactivity, unusually high data usage, or connectivity issues.
- Explore the countries where your fleet uses mobile data.
- Inspect individual SIMs and dates in detail tables and heatmaps.
- View summary data or export data to CSV using the ⋮ menu on a tile, chart, or table.
- Explore aggregated network-wide module adoption by country, industry, or manufacturer with Device Analyzer.
- Open module profiles to review hardware characteristics, comparative performance ratings, and similar modules when choosing hardware.
- Choose a subscription for 1, 3, or 5 licensed users to match your team's needs. See the subscription overview for trial and subscription options.
Limitations
- Edge Lens ingests fleet data daily after 06:00 UTC, starting the day after a new subscription. The report opens on Device Analyzer until fleet data is available, then defaults to Edge Lens.
- Last update shows the latest available fleet usage date, independently of a widget's selected period. It does not indicate the report's refresh time or how current Device Analyzer's data is.
- A device in Device Analyzer means a model or module. Its aggregated information does not describe an individual physical unit.
- Used by can describe customer adoption or device share, depending on the table. Percentages do not necessarily add up to 100%. Check the explanation beside each table before comparing them.
- No usage identifies SIMs that recently went quiet after regular data usage. It is not a complete count of all silent SIMs. See the qualifying activity and inactivity windows.
- Detail and hover panels can be empty when there are no details for the current selection. An empty panel does not necessarily indicate a loading error or mean that every SIM is active and healthy.
